Nat Crenshaw, Owner/Operator

I founded Aerial Solutions because I saw a need in West Tennessee for a local aerial application business that does what is asked, when it is asked no matter the field size or how large of an operation the farmer runs. I simply want to provide a service that may ease the burden on the farmers/growers, because they have enough problems going on, and if I can make their lives slightly easier than I am doing my job right. Now are my prices very competitive? Yes. Do I try my best to get things done when I say I am going to? Absolutely. I give it my all because I know that someone else’s livelihood depends on me. My catch phrase or whatever you want to call it is “Committed to Caring for your Crops” and that is because I treat every field that I spray like it is my own. Two things that I have always said: one, if I could do it for free, then I would. The second thing is that when I am spraying I am not working. It’s not a job for me, do I make living doing it? Yes, but it is not a job, It is a passion of mine. I get to wake up every day that I am spraying and I am part of something much bigger than just me. I am part of a community that works hard, works long hours, works in sometimes-brutal conditions, and get back up every time they are kicked. I am part of the farming community, and I am proud to be a part of it. At the end of the day I just want to make my farmers jobs little easier.

What The Experts Say

About Ag Aviation

The industry consists of small businesses and pilots that use aircraft to aid farmers in producing a safe, affordable and abundant supply of food, fiber and biofuel. Aerial applicators protect forestry and play an important role in protecting the public by combating mosquitoes carrying West Nile Virus, encephalitis and other diseases. Some farmers apply their products from the ground using ground equipment, but many have realized that using an ag plane to do this work is often more efficient and effective. For example, aircraft can treat wet fields and spray when crop canopies are too thick for ground rigs. Unlike ground rigs, aerial application does not contribute to topsoil runoff. Moreover, when pests or disease threatens a crop, time is critical. At a minimum, an airplane or helicopter can accomplish three times as much application work as any other form of application can.
